Hello Mr Howard,

HDMI cables only carry Audio/Visual signals provided to them by a specific device.

If both your BT Vision box and your TV support HD signals then everything should come out in High definition. If both devices have an HDMI socket then this might indicate that both devices do indeed support HD signals.

However, I'm not completely familiar with the BT Vision system so I'd recommend that you give them a call.
